We begin in Jackson Hole, framed by the jagged peaks of the Teton Range, and follow the Snake River and high mountain passes into neighboring Idaho before turning north toward Big Sky Country. The region is laced with spectacular roads, including Teton Pass and the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, offering sweeping views over forests, rivers and volcanic plateaus. We spend a full day traveling through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, including the famed Old Faithful area, before continuing into Montana to explore Big Sky, Bozeman, the Gallatin River corridor, and the wide-open Madison Valley with stops at Earthquake Lake and Ennis. Throughout the journey, you’ll experience a diverse range of alpine vistas, river canyons, and expansive prairies from behind the wheel of a Porsche. Day 1 Arrival and Welcome Reception: Jackson Hole, Wyoming Upon your arrival at Jackson Hole Airport, you’ll be met by private car service for a short ride to the Four Seasons Resort in Teton Village, set at the base of the Tetons and some of America’s most rugged peaks. After settling in, you’ll meet the Porsche Travel Experience team and your fellow participants for a welcome reception and evening dinner with the group. The evening is yours to enjoy mountain views, fresh alpine air, and anticipation for the days ahead. Day 2 Rivers and Valleys: Jackson Hole – Hoback Junction – Swan Valley Loop We begin with a loop that follows the Snake River south from Jackson Hole, tracing its curves through Hoback Junction and on to Alpine, Wyoming before stopping for lunch. Crossing into Swan Valley, Idaho, we enjoy a mix of riverside stretches, open farmland, and long sightlines before climbing back over Teton Pass into Wyoming. The day concludes back at the Four Seasons, with time to relax in the village or enjoy the resort’s amenities. Day 3 Teton Pass and Mesa Falls Scenic Byway Today’s drive showcases a different side of the region. We head once more over Teton Pass into Idaho and join the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, a route framed by dense forest, volcanic plateaus, and viewpoints over the Henrys Fork of the Snake River. Stops along the way allow for short walks and photos before we return across the pass to Teton Village and our final evening at the Four Seasons under the stars. Day 4 Grand Teton and Yellowstone to Big Sky, Montana We depart Jackson Hole and travel through Grand Teton National Park, with its dramatic peaks reflected in alpine lakes, before continuing into Yellowstone National Park. The route includes a visit to the Old Faithful area, where you can witness the park’s famous geothermal activity. In the afternoon, we continue north into Montana and arrive in Big Sky, checking in at the One & Only Moonlight Basin for a relaxed mountain evening. Day 5 Big Sky and Bozeman: Mountain Towns and Open Roads Leaving Big Sky, we follow the Gallatin River north toward Bozeman, a lively town with a walkable downtown and Western character. After time for lunch and exploration, we return to Big Sky via a different route, taking in sweeping canyon views and high-country vistas. This evening, you’ll check in to the Montage Big Sky Resort, where refined alpine luxury and expansive views await. Day 6 Earthquake Lake, Ennis, and the Madison Valley Our final full drive explores classic Montana “Big Sky” scenery. From Big Sky, we head toward Earthquake Lake, formed by a 1959 landslide, and continue along the Madison River to the town of Ennis. The route combines flowing two-lane highways, river valleys, and wide-open plains before looping back to Montage Big Sky. We close the tour with a farewell dinner celebrating the week’s national parks, mountain passes, and unforgettable roads. Day 7 Departures from Bozeman, Montana After breakfast, private transfers will be arranged to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
