There are now two locations for the Porsche Track Experience. The Porsche Driving Center in Birmingham is located at Barber Motorsports Park (6075-B Barber Motorsports Parkway, Leeds, Alabama, 35094) and the Porsche Driving Center Laguna Seca is located at (1021 Monterey Salinas Highway, Salinas CA 93908).

From Monterey Regional Airport – Monterey, CA to Laguna Seca: Take CA-68E/Monterey Salinas Highway to B Rd/Tehama. Turn Left onto B Rd/Tehama followed by an immediate right onto A Rd. Take A Rd. to security checkpoint. Once through the security checkpoint, take S Perimeter Rd. to the Paddock. Approximate driving time – 15 to 25 minutes

From San Jose Mineta International Airport to Laguna Seca: Take Airport Parkway to US-101 S. Take exit #327 onto CA-68 W towards B Rd/Tehama. Turn Right onto B Rd/Tehama followed by an immediate right onto A Rd. Take A Rd. to security checkpoint. Once through the security checkpoint, take S Perimeter Rd. to the Paddock. Approximate driving time – 1 hour 30 minutes

From San Francisco International Airport to Laguna Seca: Take Airport Access Rd. to US-101 S. Take exit #327 onto CA-68 W towards B Rd/Tehama. Turn Right onto B Rd/Tehama followed by an immediate right onto A Rd. Take A Rd. to security checkpoint. Once through the security checkpoint, take S Perimeter Rd. to the Paddock. Approximate driving time – 2 hours PTX utilizes current model vehicles. Cars are listed on each course page and are subject to change as each year we experience a model changeover. Participants must be at least 21-years-old and possess a current, valid driver’s license. Yes, if you have completed a course at Barber Motorsports Park, this qualifies as the appropriate pre-requisite course for offerings at Laguna Seca and vice versa. Classes at PTX hold up to 30 participants in our Precision, Performance, and Masters programs, up to 24 participants in our Masters RS and Masters RSR programs. PTX Exclusive Programs range from 12 to 18 participants per class. In the Precision, Performance, Masters, and Advanced courses, you will attend the classroom session for one hour each morning, with the remainder of the day spent rotating through on track sessions and off-track exercises. Porsche Track Experience course gift certificates are available for purchase on the website or by calling 770-290-7000. All gift certificates are shipped via FedEx to a physical shipping address and includes gift box, key chain, and wallet size gift certificate card. Processing typically takes 24 hours and certificates purchased after 11:00AM CST or over the weekend will be processed the following business day. Both standard and expedited shipping options are available.

*NOTE: Purchasing a gift certificate does NOT confirm a registration for a scheduled course. All Porsche Driving gift certificates can be used at any of the three U.S. Porsche Driving venues. Gift certificates are transferable however they are non-refundable. All Porsche Track Experience driving activities require that participants are at least 21 years old with a current, valid driver’s license. Not at all! We have an excellent team of instructors that are adept at working with all skill levels. We start with the basics and go from there. Our classes are designed so that participants can go at their own pace. No one has to do anything they feel uncomfortable with. Participants are welcome to bring a pre-registered Guest for an additional $150/day. The Guest can join us for all classroom and training sessions, as well as all meals. Guests will not be permitted to drive or ride with participants or instructors. Guests will be required to sign all PTX forms and track waivers and return them immediately after registration. The minimum age to be a guest is 16 years of age, and guests between the ages of 16-18 yrs. old must be accompanied by his or her legal guardian. Guests will not incur an additional fee for transportation to and from the track. However, the Hotel front desk does need to be notified upon arrival to reserve an additional seat on the shuttle to and from the event. If there is a request to cancel or change your reservation with the Porsche Track Experience more than thirty (30) days prior to the course start date, a $250.00 fee will be charged. If the cancellation or change is requested between seven (7) and thirty (30) days prior to the course start date, the participant forfeits half the cost of the class. There are no refunds on changes or cancellations less than seven (7) days prior to the course start date. A “no-show” forfeits the full tuition. Refunds will not be issued for “no-shows” resulting from weather or airline connection problems or other members of a group cancelling. ** Cancellation policy will vary for PTX special and exclusive events.** In an effort to provide the safest driving programs possible and clear communication with all our driving participants, we require all non-English speaking participants to have a translator/interpreter. For Laguna Seca, the Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is only 15 minutes from the track. Another popular option is the San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) which is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the track. Each participant has a liability of $12,500/per occurrence for damage to property and/or vehicles. We offer an opportunity to reduce your deductible from $12,500 to $5,000 by purchasing the damage limitation for $150/per day. Damage limitation options may vary for special events and advanced level programs. About 95% of our participants do. No, anyone who is at least 21 with a current, valid Driver’s License may register for a class at PTX. We do provide helmets for the course, but participants are welcome to bring their own if it is rated Snell 2015 or better. We do not require racing suits therefore we do not provide them. Porsche does not allow any type of recording device to be used inside of or attached to the exterior of our cars. This includes, but is not limited to, cameras, phones, GoPros, etc. We provide the vehicles for the driving experiences. You are welcome to bring your own, but it will have to stay in the parking lot. We recommend that you wear comfortable, seasonal attire. Shorts are allowed. We also recommend you wear soft-soled shoes, such as driving or tennis shoes. No open- toed or high heeled shoes are allowed.
