1. How many modules do you have?

The PEC LA has 8 thrilling modules that test your driving capabilities. 

2. What is the rescheduling and cancellation policy?


Should you request to reschedule thirty (30) days or more from the date of your experience, one complimentary reschedule will be granted. Any additional rescheduling requests within thirty (30) days of your experience will result in a $100.00 change fee. Please note, we are unable to accommodate any rescheduling requests within seven (7) days of your experience.


If you wish to cancel thirty (30) days or more from the date of your experience, you will be issued a full refund. Any cancellation within thirty (30) days of your experience will result in a forfeiture of half the cost of your experience.  Please note, we are unable to accommodate any cancellation requests within seven (7) days of your experience.


A "no-show" will result in a full forfeiture of the cost of your experience and cannot be retroactively refunded or rescheduled.

3. Will my driving experience be cancelled due to inclement weather?

Our facility will proceed with our scheduled drive experiences rain or shine. (Restrictions may apply.) In the event of inclement weather, our Acceleration Straight and/or Handling Circuit may close until it has been determined safe by Drive Team management. All other drive modules will remain open, in addition to a special program in our Dynamics Area.


Should our Drive Team management deem conditions unsafe, we will reschedule your experience at no cost. Please note, guests must arrive the day of their scheduled experience in order to waive our rescheduling fee. A “no show” will result in a full forfeiture of the cost of your experience and cannot be retroactively refunded or rescheduled.

4. Do you have to be a Porsche owner or Porsche Club member to visit the facility?

No, the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles is open to the public.  All are welcome!

Please note, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during their visit.

5. Porsche Driving Coach Instruction / Communication While on Course

The Porsche Experience Center requires each of our driving guests to be able to effectively communicate in the English language. Should there be a concern about a possible language barrier, please contact a member of our Customer Experience Team for more information at 888.204.7474.

6. Is the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles considered a racetrack?

The Porsche Experience Center is a driver development course, consisting of eight (8) different driving modules designed to simulate everyday driving conditions and more challenging environments to experience the thrill of driving Porsche sports cars.


Our dedicated team of Porsche Drive Coaches work one-to-one with you to provide personalized attention.  No specialized equipment is needed to participate in a drive experience.

7. What are the hours of operation for the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles?

Porsche Experience Center Hours:

Sunday and Monday: Closed

Tuesday - Saturday: 8:00am - 5:00PM

Please note that reservations are highly recommended for entry to the Porsche Experience Center.  Please call 888-204-7474 to make a reservation.


917 Restaurant Hours of Operation:

Tuesday - Saturday - Lunch - 11:30 - 3:00pm

Thursday - Saturday - Dinner - 5:30 - 8:30 (last reservation will be 8:30pm)

8. Do you need a reservation to attend?

No, but we highly encourage you to make a reservation. While we will try to accommodate requests at the door, it cannot always be guaranteed.

9. Can I bring a guest?

Participants are welcome to bring non-driving guests at no additional charge.

Guests might also enjoy booking some time in our Simulator Lab or booking a demo lap with one of our skilled drivers.  Guests do not need to be 21 to participate in these activities. *Some restrictions apply

Please be aware that children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times during your visit to the Porsche Experience Center.


10. Is there an age requirement for the Driving Experience?

Participants must be at least 21-years old and possess a current, valid driver's license.

11. Zero tolerance alcohol policy

PEC LA has a "zero tolerance” alcohol policy regarding drive experiences.  Any driver who consumes alcohol prior to their experience will not be allowed to drive.  No exceptions.


12. Are animals allowed at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles?

The Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles is fully ADA compliant and allows service animals only.

13. What should I wear?

Comfortable attire is recommended. We recommend that you wear soft sole shoes such as driving shoes or tennis shoes. 

14. Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes. We offer three (3) types of monetary gift certificates: Drive Experience, Restaurant 917, and the Porsche Retail Store. All gift certificates are payable in full and are non-refundable.

Drive Experience gift certificates are redeemable for 90-minute drive experiences, 30-minute or 60-minute simulator lab sessions, and demonstration laps. Gift certificates can be purchased online, by calling 1.888.204.7474, or in person at our main reception desk. Drive experience gift certificates are transferable and valid for one-year from the date of purchase. All Porsche driving experiences require the participant to be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.

Restaurant 917 gift certificates are redeemable for lunch (Tuesday-Saturday) and dinner (Thursday-Saturday) at the restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the PEC LA. To purchase, please call 310.527.0917 or visit the hostess desk to assist you.

Porsche Retail Store gift certificates are available at the Porsche Retail Store and redeemable only at the Porsche Experience Center Retail Store.

15. What is my damage liability?

Each participant has a liability of $10,000/per occurrence for damage to property and/or vehicles. We offer an opportunity to reduce your deductible from $10,000 to $2000 by purchasing the damage waiver for $50/per driving experience.

16. Can we have catering/food?

Yes, we offer in house catering service, Restaurant 917 and the Speedster Cafe. To inquiry about catering please reach out to PECLAevents@porsche.us and our Catering Manager will send information as soon as the inquiry is received.
